Account & Data Deletion Request

You have full ownership and control over your mental health data. You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time directly within the app or via this web page.
Option 1: Delete Directly Inside the App (Instant)
The fastest and most direct way to delete your account and erase all associated data is directly inside the QUALIA mobile app:
- Open the QUALIA mobile application on your device.
- Tap on the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Security & Biometrics.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm your request.
This immediately invokes a cascading server deletion function that permanently purges your account records and clears all local encryption keys and data from your device.
Option 2: Submit a Web Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, submit your registered account email below. Our compliance team will process your request within 48 hours:

Data Types Deleted vs. Retained
Data Permanently Deleted:
- User Account & Profile: Email address, user ID, display name, and authentication records.
- Shadow Journal Entries: All encrypted journals, timestamps, and word counts.
- Nervous System & Mood Logs: All autonomic pulse and daily mood logs.
- Thought Catcher Records: All CBT thought logs, distortions, and therapeutic reframes.
- Worry Vault: All deposited and released worries.
- Crisis Events & Contacts: All emergency contact references and safety history.
Data Retention & Subscriptions:
- Zero Clinical Retention: No medical or clinical data is retained after deletion.
- In-App Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play Store subscription. You must manage and cancel recurring subscriptions via Google Play Store subscriptions settings.
